This happens only in India!
A holiday declared for most playschools and even some high schools on Friday for what? Coz of the solar eclipse from 11am to 3pm!!! I mean what are the working parents supposed to do if they don't have a nanny or parents at home? Are they also supposed to take off from work coz of the eclipse!!!??? Not that I am working right now but what if I did? Just makes me wanna smile and hum the tune "this happens only in India" :-)

Jeez! Such a stereotype na - why should mommies be the ones working from home? And what if there is no option of working from home?
This is india ;) .. Here u can tell ur manager that the school is closed due to solar eclipse n u need to WFH and they will understand perfectly! :) These are not to be taken so seriously!!

Hmmm good point MM...I never thought of it that way...that our managers at work might also be used to this by now :-)
